At times it seems as though I sort of happened upon becoming a photographer; at others, it is infinitely clear why this form of expression resonates so comfortably with my spirit. I have always had a profound sense of the need to seize each day. I cling to the days I have with those that I love and long to hold on to such sweet moments forever.
I believe photography offers us the privilege of capturing a moment, an expression, an event in time that we cannot have again. As a photographer, I desire to capture the life in other people’s stories. My passion is to illustrate life in its most authentic form—the joy in a child’s laughter, the expectant gaze of a waiting groom, the deep contentment in a new mother. Whether it is playing in the backyard or walking down the aisle, my hope is that my photographs will
reveal the preciousness of life.
